Environmental Education Program for Children

There has been so much talk these days on environmental protection and climate change. MPYRAA is concerned in this regard particularly to maintain a less hazardous environment for youths whose rights it stands to protect. The constitution of Cameroon in its preamble states that it is the responsibility of all to protect the environment in which they live.

Our youths are being schooled thoroughly at MPYRAA on the impact we will face should our environment be tempered with. Regular visits are being made to Botanic gardens Zoos, beaches and mountains to just to find lasting solutions to our environmental problems. MPYRAA has also in this light come up with some must do activities that will also go a long way to finding lasting solutions to these problems.

- MPYRAA will mobilize youths and engage them in tree planting at their various levels to ease protection.

- MPYRAA will get more people into animal farming so as to have meat for our household and reduce the killing of endangered species for bush meat.

- MPYRAA will also improve on its knowledge to the public on the treatment of sewage and garbage before disposal.

- MPYRAA will also continue to build awareness and friendliness between the youths and the environment.

MPYRAA is by this message calling on all educational institutions from nursery to university levels to create environmental clubs and associations in their various institutions, organize debates and competitions in write-ups on environmental protection and capacity building programs.

Factually we are about producing monthly journals for our activities with much emphasis on environmental protection. This will all be in a bid to ensure a general participation of all youths conserve their environment.
