Avoiding Fraud

It has come to the knowledge of MPYRAA - (Movement for the promotion of youths rights and HIV/AIDS awareness) that some unscrupulous persons go around using our name and logo fraudulently thereby deliberately abusing the trust our funders and supporters worldwide entrusted on us. Below we shall try to brief you on how these acts are carried out, as such help protect MPYRAA and yourself from its potential serious consequences.

Fake offers.

Several reports have reached us stating that these imposters may now be using MPYRAA’s name and our hard-earned credibility to lure members of the public via websites, e-mails and phone calls.

MPYRAA is already aware of these activities and as such we are alerting the general public in an effort to ensure that people do not become victims, and should avoid being fooled into providing their personal contact details.

Whatever information received from any other website which is not www.mpyraa.org should be considered fraudulent. Equally, phone calls, emails received offering volunteer opportunities or pricings should also be treated as fabricated and fraudulent. Note that only MPYRAA and MPYRAA alone is authorized to send communications or appeals to the public on its behalf.

Volunteering Opportunities with MPYRAA.

There is no advert with MPYRAA as NO Fee Volunteer Opportunities in Africa or Volunteer opportunities for free. Please don’t be deceived it is all fraud.

All MPYRAA volunteers must pay an amount to cover their cost of stay while in Cameroon.

Please any other email addresses you see online used our behalf are FRAUD .Some volunteers have been duped of their hard earned money by some unscrupulous internet scammers using fake email addresses they created, some of which are mentioned below.

All mails sent to these listed addresses are FAKE and ILLEGAL.

No Financial Transaction by Western Union or Money Gram.

    * Please never send money via Western Union or Money Gram. MPYRAA never asks volunteers to send money through these mediums.
    * MPYRAA has a genuine bank account through which all financial transactions are made. Our volunteers are always encouraged to pay money through our Bank account.
