PartnersIn every country, the complexities of HIV/AIDS,Human Rights abuses and poverty exceed the capability of any single sector. These pandemics demands mobilization and collaboration at community, national and International levels. They require specific responses and responses that address the causes of Vulnerability to HIV/AIDS, Human Rights abuses,poverty and their impacts. They also require greater coherence, coordination and consistency between sectors. Multicultural partnerships are essential for our effective response. Governments, civil societies (including NGOs) and the private and public sectors must all play their part. We need to ensure that we complement each other’s strategies and actively collaborate, while respecting each other’s independence and acknowledging differences. Transparency, critical thinking, learning and sharing are essential elements of successful partnerships. Consequently, we work in partnership with vulnerable population of diverse cultures, applying flexible programmatic public health approaches and building local capacity to address the most pressing needs of individuals and communities. We pursue partnership in an entrepreneurial spirit, internally as well as externally in order to respond to changing environment for financial priority public health initiatives. |
